UPVC Sliding Doors
uPVC Sliding Doors are the perfect choice for creating a seamless entrance from your home into your garden, allowing plenty of natural light into your home.
We have researched the market and find that the most popular colours currently are Grey, White and Black. We offer those colours as standard and offer a wide range of contemporary and more traditional colour options including, Cream, Chartwell Green, Anthracite Grey, Finesse Grey, Irish Oak, Golden Oak or Rosewood.
The doors are effortless to open, operating on a four-wheel mechanism made of steel, so it provides a unique ‘air-glide’ smooth, silent rolling motion.
The Sliding Patio Doors have a low threshold which is ideal for the whole family and meet Part M compliance, the minimum standard for disabled access in and out of a property. Depending on the size of your aperture, Sliding Patio Doors can be installed with 2, 3 or 4 panes. Every door is made to measure and is supplied with safety toughened glass.
We install the Liniar ModLok Sliding Patio Door as it is one of the most secure uPVC Sliding Patio Doors available. The doors feature multipoint locking with four hook bolts, two shoot bolts at the top and bottom of each sliding pane and anti-lift technology, for your safety and security. If preferred, an Anti-Snap 3-Star security rated locking cylinder can be included and the doors can be specified to meet PAS 24 security.
The Liniar Sliding Door system is the only uPVC System company to have carried out an in-house robot test. This involved the doors being fully opened and closed as many times as possible until it achieved more than three times’ the British Standard, to give you peace of mind that if you choose a Liniar Sliding Patio Door for your home, it will continue to open and close smoothly for many years.
Invisible 'bump stop'
Sliding Doors require a ‘bump stop’ to stop the doors from hitting each other as they slide open. On most uPVC Sliding Doors, this bump stop is visible, however, on the Liniar Sliding Patio Doors this is discreetly positioned within the frame itself, creating a sleek, attractive finish. This, coupled with slim sculptured sightlines result in an attractive uPVC Sliding Door set.
Liniar ModLok Sliding Doors are fitted with a unique thermal bubble gasket to prevent draughts, making them extremely thermally efficient. They achieve a U-Value of 1.2 W/m²K with an argon filled toughened double-glazed unit. The doors have also been tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 80 miles per hour.
